Steven Tuan Pham is an experienced attorney in Immigration and Naturalization Law and in Business Law. Mr. Pham has multiple years experience working with family-based immigration, employment-based immigration law, asylum applications, removal, VAWA self-petitions, and consular processing. Since his first year in law school, Mr. Pham has gained valuable experience with various law firms, varying from 1 to 200 attorneys. Since his second year of law school, Mr. Pham was certified by the State of California, to practice law under the supervision of an attorney.
With respect to immigration law, Mr. Pham had successfully petitioned for some very difficult non-immigrants applications. These petitions include EB-1 Subcategory (C), multinational executive transfers, L-1A intra-company executive transfers, E-2 Treaty Investor Visa, Consular Processing, and asylum applications and appeals. Mr. Pham's expertise is in Treaty Investor Visa (E-2) and Intra-Company transferee (L-1). Mr. Pham holds a 95% successful rate for E-2 Treaty Investor Visas. In 2006, Mr. Pham traveled to Pakistan to assist in providing seminars and consultations on E-2 Treaty Investor Visas, as well as various other immigration and non-immigrant visa petitions.
Because the vast majority of his non-immigrant clients are businessmen and businesswomen, Mr. Pham has extensive experience in formulating and reviewing business contracts, corporate formation, land-lord tenant law, leases, sales purchase agreements, and Bill of Sale. Mr. Pham has also assisted several clients in organizing and developing their companies, including creating business plans, filing their incorporation with the State, obtaining the employer identification numbers from the IRS, obtaining proper municipal licenses (occupancy permits, sales and use tax licenses, alcoholic licenses, etc.), and challenged municipal code violations.
Prior to joining Smith & Garg, LLC, Mr. Pham was managing his own general practice law firm as well as acting as the Immigration Services Center Manager for a non-profit grass-root organization. In the later position, Mr. Pham managed and trained attorneys and several paralegals. Mr. Pham is well respected and has good relationships with the USCIS and the Houston District Office based on his work and ethics. In April of 2007, Mr. Pham was invited to USCIS to provide Medical Disability Waiver Training (N-648) and cultural sensitivity presentation at the Houston District Office to over 30 USCIS officers and Unit Chiefs.
Before returning to law school, Mr. Pham had five years experience as a staffing and business consultant, helping small start-ups, as well as fortune five hundred companies, to achieve its recruitment goals and objectives. Mr. Pham is ready to assist you with any and all of your legal needs. Please contact him today for a consultation.
